The Red Line

During her Master’s studies in Fine Arts in Málaga, Spain, Tara began integrating performance into her practice, bringing her own body into the creative process. This evolution gave rise to works of ritual and intimacy. Under the full moon, she created the first painting using her menstrual blood — an act of profound embodiment.

When her menstrual cycle aligned mid-program presentation, Tara chose to welcome this sacred flow by applying the blood to her face — a mask that reveals rather than conceals. Moving through public space became a silent performance, a rite of passage reclaiming the power of the womb. This initiated
Womb Rituals (2022-present): art as living ritual, working with menstrual blood as sacred fluid
uniting womb, heart and mind.
