About Tara

"For me, creating art is a spiritual path — a way to connect deeply with myself and the divine source. I approach the body as a mystery to discover, a sacred vessel of creativity. Through tantra, yoga, and art, I explore intimacy with life itself."

Tara’s curiosity to understand both the world and herself led her to study International Relations at Leiden University (Cum Laude). An honours program on Global Challenges, a semester in visual arts in British Columbia, and a mindfulness course added depth to her studies. After spending over five years abroad, she became fluent in Spanish and discovered her love for art and yoga.

In 2022, Tara completed a Master’s in Interdisciplinary Art Production in Spain — the birthplace of her menstruation art. Her creative practice flows between drawing, painting, installation, collage, performance, photography, video, dance, singing, and theatre. Through each expression, she explores art as ritual and healing, weaving her roles as artist, mentor, and guide into spaces of shared creativity and connection.

Over the past decade, Tara has journeyed deeply into the realms of spirit and embodiment. Meditation, hatha yoga, vipassana, kaula tantra yoga, tao tantric arts, ayurvedic massage, silent retreats, mantra, ceremony and shamanic practice have shaped her path. With certifications from schools around the world and eight years of teaching experience, she shares from lived experience — where devotion, movement, and creation become one.
